If you have been enjoying the photography and travel writing on our Great River websites, here's more from Pat:

Rich Middleton, Photographer and Itinerary Guru

Pat Middleton, Mississippi River author and Travel Writer

Rich and I have been Mississippi River buffs for some 25 years. It has been a fascinating journey that has provided endless stories  from both past and present, and some of our more remarkable photographs. We have shared many of those stories and photographs on our website at
http://www.greatriver.com and in our books.

It has also been our great joy to travel during the past 17 years many dozens of times as a guest lecturer on all the
Delta Queen cruise boats on most of America's navigable rivers. I've always freely offered up my stories. Now I hope you enjoy Rich's photos which highlight not only our time on the river, but our travels around the world.
